8 امین نشست آزادگروه کاری سیاستگذاری توسعه پایدار 3 الی 7فوریه در ژنو

پس از سلام ،
طبق اطلاع واصله از خانم اشرسون مشاور ایمنی و بهداشت و محیط زیست سازمان بین المللی کارفرمایان (آی-او-یی) هفتمین نشست آزاد گروه کاری سیاست گذاری توسعه پایدار در تاریخ 6 تا 10 ژانویه در ژنو برگزار شد. در این نشست تمرکز بحث ها حول محور های ذیل بود:

شهرهای پایدار و اسکان و خانه سازی انسانی، سیستم های حمل و نقل پایدار، تولید و مصرف پایدار (شامل مواد شیمیایی و ضایعات)
-
تغییرات جوی (آب و هوایی) و کاهش خطرات بلایای طبیعی
حال هشتمین نشست آزاد گروه کاری سیاست گذاری توسعه پایدار در تاریخ 3 تا 7 فوریه در ژنو برگزار خواهد شد و در این نشست پنج محور ذیل مورد مذاکره و بحث قرار خواهد گرفت:

اقیانوس ها و دریاها
-
جنگل ها و تنوع زیستی (زیست محیطی)
-
ارتقای برابری، از جمله برابری اجتماعی، برابری جنسیتی و توانمند سازی زنان
-
پیشگیری از کشمکش و درگیری، برقراری صلح پس از درگیری، و ارتقای صلح و آرامش پایدار
-
جکومت و حاکمیت قانون (قانون مداری)
لازم به ذکر است که تمامی جریان های کاری از طریق و با اثر گذاری “اتحاد جهانی کسب و کار” دنبال می شود که آی-او یی نیز یکی از اعضای آن است. و همچنین قابل توجه است که جریانات کاری متعددی است که این گروه کاری (سیاست گذاری توسعه پایدار) موظف است پیشنهادات مربوط به سیاست گذارهای ی توسعه پایدار را با مجمع عمومی سازمان ملل مطرح نماید. ضمن اینکه این گروه کاری هنوز هیچ دستور کار رسمی ندارد، ولی اعضای گروه همچنان امیدوارند که دستور کاری رسمی برای آن گروه مشخص شود تا بتواند از آن طریق در خصوص سیاست های پیشنهادی با مجمع عمومی سازمان ملل بحث و گفتگو نمایند. کشور هایی که علاقه خاص به این موضوع دارند بولیوی و بنین (به نمایندگی از سوی کشور های عقب مانده یا به عبارت بهتر کمتر توسعه یافته) برزیل، کلمبیا و پاکستان می باشند و به احتمال زیاد این کشورها نقش مهمی هم در جهت دهی گفتگو های نشست آتی خواهند داشت.
در همین راستا، پرزیدنت مجمع عمومی سازمان ملل نیز نشست های متعددی برای ماه های آتی فوریه و آوریل، و در زمینه های مختلف از جمله: آب، بهداشت، و انرژی پایدار، کمک و همکاری زنان، جوانان و جامعه مدنی، تضمین جوامع پایدار و صلح جو، حقوق انسان ها و حاکمیت قانون ، تغییرات جوی و آب و هوایی و موضوعات دیگر برنامه ریزی نموده است و تمامی اطلاعات مربوط به آنها از جمله تاریخ های برگزاری دستورهای کاری محور های مورد بحث و … در ضمایم و لینک هایی که نشانی آنها در زیر آمده است ، در دسترس اعضای محترم این کانون عالی ، علاقمندان و دست اندرکاران قرار داده شده است .

All the various work streams are being tracked and influenced by the Global Business Alliance of which IOE is a member.

¨ The 7th (Open Working Group) OWG was held on the 6-10 January where the discussion was focused on
Sustainable cities and human settlements, sustainable transport, Sustainable consumption and production (including chemicals and waste),
Climate change and disaster risk reduction.

¨ The 8th OWG to be held on 3-7 february will cover discussion on the following themes, see the draft programme attached
1. Oceans and seas;
2. forests and biodiversity;
3. promoting equality, including social equity, gender equality and women’s empowerment;
4. conflict prevention, post-conflict peacebuilding and the promotion of durable peace;
5. rule of law and governance
To note Although there are many workstreams the OWGs has a mandate to put forward proposed SDGs to the UN General Assembly.
Whilst there is yet no formal mandate OWGs are hoping that they will then be given the mandate to negotiate on the proposed SDGs
Countries having a particular interest are Bolivia (new chair of the G77); Benin (on behalf of the Least Developed Countries);
Brazil; Colombia and Pakistan (as part of the Pakistan, India, and Sri Lanka troika are the countries that have been most vocal
during the last eleven months of the OWG sessions and will very likely play a big role in the next set of negotiations

¨ A climate change summit will be held on 23 September 2014 at UNHQ
¨ The High-Level Political Forum will continue its work on the MDGs and Charting the Way for an Ambitious Post-2015 Development Agenda, Including the SDGs.The theme will take into account both the mandate of ECOSOC to evaluate achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs),
and the mandate of the HLPF to implement the sustainable development agenda.
